How is your relationship with your teen/tween daughter? Are you ready to deepen your bond and create memories that will last a lifetime? With the expertise of specialists in their fields, this immersive experience for mothers and daughters is designed to allow you to step out of the traditional “work” role of motherhood to practice yoga, play, and relax with your daughter. Our goal is to deepen your mother-daughter connection while building her self-esteem and independence at this formative time, creating unforgettable memories in the process.
Using the Chakra system, we will explore our mother/daughter relationship and gain tools to better understand ourselves and each other. Activities include thoughtful journal prompts, small group discussions, and movement-based yoga practices, partner yoga, as well as sound healing, breath work and meditation. Adding to the excitement, fun and learning are a gourmet cooking class, horse painting, candle making, a cacao ceremony, and an evening Glowga Dance Party! There will also be plenty of free time to explore this beautiful property and all it has to offer.

Chakra System Workshop
In this workshop, mothers and daughters will learn and explore the Chakra system for personal growth, healing and self help. First we will understand the basics of the chakras, or energetic “wheels,” their placement, and their connection to organs and glands. Then, we will discuss ways to apply this information for better awareness and relationships with self and others. During the workshop we will use visualization , mantra and yoga poses to balance these energy centers.

Who
Mothers (or mother figures) and daughters ages 11 (entering 6th grade) to 18 (entering 12th grade) who are looking for a deeper connection as well as confidence in themselves and their relationship. Even if you and your daughter don’t practice yoga, you belong. We will have plenty of non-yoga activities and chances to connect with each other through nature and community!
LEADERS:
Casie Hall, 500hr E-RYT and M. Ed, is the founder and owner of Nectar Flow Yoga and also the mother of two daughters ages 11 and 14. Casie is an experienced educator with a Master’s Degree in Education and 8 years experience teaching grades ranging from pre-K to 11th grade. The majority of her experience is with middle school age children.
This school teacher turned yoga teacher will be your guide and go-to during the retreat. Casie will lead the mother and mother/daughter yoga sessions, and give moms tools to connect with and ground themselves, so they can be more available for their daughters.
Laura (Kirtan) Marcotte, 500hr E-RYT, YACEP Meditation-Yoga-Akashic Records Readings
Experienced yoga teacher, sound bath specialist, and mom to now grown children, Laura joins us to teach about the Chakra System, lead the daughters’ yoga and vision board session, hold sacred space, and guide us in a healing soundbath.
Laura has been a yoga enthusiast since 1994 and is certified in many styles of yoga and meditation. Laura co-wrote and facilitated Children’s Yoga teachers training at Yoga Yoga Austin and she assembled the curriculum used in AISD yoga in PE grades K-12.
Mother of 2 adult children Laura loves sharing yoga principles with kids of all ages.
Callie Coale, 200hr RYT & RN
Mother to a 14-year old daughter, experienced equestrian, and ’22 graduate of Nectar Flow Yoga Teacher Training, Callie joins us to hold space and share in the feminine experience of motherhood. Callie will lead the Cacao Ceremony and Horse-Painting, as well as provide guidance and support during our journaling experience. We
spends most of her time in nature, and through that brings awareness to the natural rhythms of life into the studio. With a background as a nurse, Callie comes to the world of yoga with an informed and holistic perspective that will help you learn to listen to your body and tune into your deeper needs. She brings a quiet calm to every experience she leads! She is lighthearted, kind, and nurturing, ready to great you with a smile and her infectious sense of humor. Peace and Love!
